I led the first of what will be three hikes covering the Taconic Crest Trail in Mass. and N.Y. (and briefly in Vt.). This section was entirely in Massachusetts, from Pittsfield to Hancock.

Meadowsweet and I went to Mount Desert Island in Maine, which is where most of Acadia National Park is. On Thursday we hiked a loop around Jordan Pond. On Friday I did a solo hike which summitted seven mountains in eight miles.

This was another The Connecticut Section of the GMC trail work trip. On Friday I trimmed. On Saturday I painted blazes. On Sunday I drove north to hike Killington solo via Shrewsbury Peak Trail. This was my fouth time on Killington, but the first time on Shrewsbury Peak.
